Second Try’s A Charm

After a disastrous experience with a most uncomfortable Kluft pillow-top mattress from Bloomingdales, which dropped a white powder from the stuffing and for which the store never fully reimbursed us, we had better luck with the Asteria. It is firm to our liking, well made and more reasonably priced.

A fine mattress!

It’s a fine mattress with a perfect profile for our sleigh bed. We loved the Kluft mattress but it was too high for the bed and concealed the backboard. The Asteria mattress is a fine alternative.

Good Mattress

Purchased this mattress on sale in conjunction with an adjustable bed frame. This mattress was a little softer than we would normally purchase but the item we wanted was out of stock so we went with this one. It's adequate but nothing special. This is our first experience with "cooling gel" and neither of us are impressed with this feature. This mattress works for now but in a few years we will definitely choose differently.

Use with platform bed

Love the mattress, did not get springs. Have platform bed and not sure this mattress design should be used with platform. Sides seem less stable than with foundation. Not mattress' fault.
