Durable, Attractive Jacket

This practical jacket is well made as you'd expect from Barbour. Would be nice if it had the signature Barbour plaid lining, or if pockets were lined. Lightweight, rainproof, protects against wind and chill but not intended for really cold weather. Perfect for travel. Doesn't look bulky, has a flattering silhouette. Fits true to size.

Beautiful but arm seam is *too* well-constructed

It’s a beautiful coat, the perfect weight and length. The internal pocket doesn’t zip closed with a phone but the front pockets are nice and roomy. Ordered a US 6 and US 8, I’m 5’3 and the coat was sufficiently long. The arms of the 8 were too long and overall it was too big in the upper body, seemed larger than a regular 8 in my opinion. The 6 was a great fit but the upper arms were a smidge small but nothing uncomfortable. However the coats arm seams are so well constructed that they’re almost rigid and make bending your arm quite uncomfortable.
