Bernardaud bowls - love them!

I registered for Bernardaud plates and bowls for my weddding and absolutely love them! They are gorgeous. These bowls can be used for everyday dishes or they can be dressed up with nice flatware to use for fancy occasions.

Elegant French porcelain soup & salad bowl

When my everyday dishes were beginning to look tired, I replaced them with the Bernardaud Origine pattern. These bowls are a great size and shape for soup, oatmeal, or even a side salad. I have found the Bernardaud porcelain to be a pure milky white, where other brands of French porcelain tend to be slightly grayer. I have only used them for two weeks, but so far they wash up beautifully in the dishwasher and show no chips or gray marks from flatware.

Gorgeous but not the right size for us

The coupe bowls are beautiful, but I found them to be a little too shallow for our needs, especially because we got the Origine pasta bowls and were looking for a second type of bowl (smaller, more suitable for cereal and ice cream) to accompany them. When the coupe bowls arrived they ended up being a smaller version of the pasta bowl, so we exchanged them for the medium bowls in the Origine line. I loved these bowls and would recommend them to those who are looking for a shallow bowl smaller than a pasta bowl.

Beautiful bowls.

My husband and I registered for this collection for our wedding and couldn't be happier! The items are beautiful, sturdy, lightweight, and oven safe, and we love that they come in different colors! They can be used as formal dinnerware or can be casual, depending on how you set your table! Only problem is that they've been so popular that they're backordered.
