Beautiful necklace without Gucci packaging

I bought this for my daughter's 18th birthday. It is a beautiful necklace, but extremely disappointing packaging. It came in a box that a $10 pair of earrings would have been packaged in. No Gucci box, no Gucci anything. If you purchase anything designer from Bloomingdales online, do it over the phone and demand the original packaging. I purchased a Ferragamo bag over the holidays and it was wrapped in a piece of Bloomingdales paper and sent in a shipping box.
