Get the right hairbrush and you will be very happy

I got the Mason Pearson boar bristle brush and it is heavenly to use. You have to be careful about which model to get: my last MP brush was their nylon model, completely wrong for my hair type and too rough for my head. This time I researched from the MP website and I should have had the boar bristles all along for my hair type. Huge difference in effect. I absolutely love the feel of this brush and it is beautiful. Worth every penny. A joy to use.

The Cadillac Hairbrush

Very good brush for thining hair, it massages my scalp and keeps oil under control by transferring to my dry ends. One star less because of the high price.

Bristle Brush

The brush is great for someone with good hair. It does help maintaining the hair. However, I have problems with my thyroid and unfortunately this brush just promotes more shedding.

Gentler on hair and scalp

The fully boar’s bristle brush is worth the extra cost, because it is gentler on the scalp and hair. Nice brush for the person with thinning hair and sensitive scalp.
