Local stores won’t cut the belt

I brought this beautiful belt as a birthday gift for my husband. This belt comes in one size and the website says that with the receipt the local store can cut the belt to your size. None of the local stores cut the belt so I will have to unfortunately return the product.

Bloomingdales's sent me a used precut belt!

Was excited to get my belt and when it arrived, I opened box to discover a belt in a plastic bag, with no tag and so short it would not wrap around my 31 inch waist. Meaning this was a returned belt. My review is not about MCM but about poor service from Bloomingdale's. My suggestion is film your opening of the box on cut to size belts so when you return the item, the sales associate doesn't look at you as if you're not telling the truth. An MCM luxury belt should come with authenticity tags, a dust bag and not precut to someone else's waist size. MCM belts are great, the person who shipped and pulled from the shelf, not so much.
