As part of a fourth-generation textile family, Mike and Michelle, co-founders of Sunday Citizen,were born into a home that understood how to create moments of joy through comfortable things--and it is their mission to do so… responsibly. With an eye toward sustainability in everything it does ,Sunday Citizen is reimagining how textile companies can operate. Each of its comforters' filling is made from more than 50 recycled PET plastic bottles. Its packaging is made from recycled materials, is designed to keep waste to a minimum, and is easily reused. Further, Sunday Citizen donates every open-box return to ensure its products don't end up in landfills--and it's continually searching for fabrics that are eco-friendly and uphold its standards for softness and quality.
